Product Overview
Line-suspended type polymeric housed MOA of 10-220kv range can be used in area where lightning activity is frequent,soil resistance is high,or tower-footing impedance is high and difficult to lower the soil resistance.It can improve the lightning protection level and greatly minimize problems that may bring about by lightning strikes.

Structure and technical performance
Under normal conditions,when there is a lightning strike,lightning current and operating over-voltage current pass through the line-suspended polymeric housed MOA of 10-110kV range,the disconnector will not be activated due to the special heat-induced separating device;but if the surge arrester is malfunctioning,the disconnector will be activated and cut off the connection with transmission line automatically,thus ensures the continuous power supply.The system's maintenance-free is realized.

Line suspended polymeric housed MOA with serial gap of 110-220kV range includes ZnO surge arrester and serial gap.during a lightning strike,when lightning current pass through,the serial gap come into operation,it reduces the electrical potential difference between tower top and line,prevent insulator chain flashover and line power switch off.The serial gap can blank-off automatically after the lightning current disappeared.
